AUDITION COACHING CLASSES/ MONOLOGUE SELECTION CLASS
Do your nerves knock you down before you even stand up in front of a director or casting agents? Do you know how to slate for a screen audition or stage audition? Do you get overwhelmed picking audition material? This class will help you break everything down. We will work on audition techniques to minimize nervous energy. We will also discuss “Type” and start getting you a monologue audition base to have at your disposal. This is a great class for child actors who need that boost of confidence and actors just starting out who need to learn monologues. This is also a great way to come to work on any audition material you may have!

COLLEGE AUDITION PREP
We will try out different monologues, ending with you having your Contemporary, Classical and a third back up monologue for all your auditions, based on what the colleges are asking for. We will work together on perfecting each piece and work together on your application when it pertains to theatre or acting.

These days many auditions are completed by doing what’s called a “self-tape”. Here we will not only learn the skills to navigate a successful self-tape, but we will learn how to set up all the equipment so you can eventually do this on your own!
Want us to tape for you? We are happy to record your audition for you and send you the clip via a Dropbox, so you can easily send it off to your reps right away! These are done in a 30-minute slot.

We will work on cold readings from plays and from TV/commercials. We will work on ways to get around your nerves and figuring your character, beats and making smart acting choices in a short period of time.
